I only watch anime movies, so I need a filter that separates movies from series.

Add a filter that allows to exclude the anime that I have already watched :) (advanced search)

I think a toggle to only show unwatched/unread in the advanced search would be really helpful. It would essentially hide completed, on hold, currently watching/reading, and dropped

All the websites posts are like pre 2022 and the mobile app isn't around anymore? From what i can see??

Have there be a drop-down menu at the top of your library that has a list of all the genre tags on Kitsu (Romance, Comedy, Mystery, etc). When a genre is selected all of the shows that you've seen/plan to see that are tagged as that genre will move to the top of your library list and be highlighted by different colours (Romance as pink, action as red, etc). Be able to combine filters. For example, select Romance and Mystery genres from the drop-down menu and have all shows that contain both of those tags move to the top of library. An extra touch could be highlight colour is a mix of the highlight colours for each respective genres you have selected to filter by (not a necessary addition, but whatever).

I have it still installed on my phone, but the app is gone from the Play Store. What happenend?

Since I see a lot of people reviewing anime that haven't been released, either because they read the source material or they just have high expectations and feel the need to review it.

I consistently have issues keeping track of which episode im on for long-running chinese animes because the sites i watch on use different season counts than kitsu does. since i know it's impossible for kitsu to manage to keep track of every different site's seasons, it would be great to be able to make custom entries into my library, where i can dictate how many episodes there are.

Bulk-move functionality that allows all unwatched anime to be placed into Plan to Watch would help users organize their libraries efficiently while also making it easier to discover and engage with new series and lesser-known titles that are truly outstanding. Reducing the effort needed to build meaningful watchlists encourages exploration of hidden gems that might otherwise be overlooked, sparking discussion and activity within the community. By simplifying discovery through streamlined backlog management, Kitsu could empower word of mouth to bring high-quality but under-recognized anime to the forefront and strengthen overall engagement on the platform.
